After the season has completed, we got a chance to go through a lot of tape. Here are the players currently with no offers that an FCS or D2 team would love to have on their roster.
Vernon Redd Vernon Redd 6'0" | 160 lbs | DB Aliquippa | 2021 PA – Aliquippa – DB: The CB/SAF hybrid played lights out this season. He made plays all over the field as Aliquippa moved up in classification. His speed and burst were both significantly improved from last season, and his super fluid hips allowed him to run with any WR. He made plays offensively as well at WR but we like him at Defensive back. At 5’10 his size is just about average, but his play is far from it.
Dakari Bradford Dakari Bradford 6'4" | 185 lbs | WR Western Beaver | 2021 PA – Western Beaver – ATH: The jumbo athlete can play a variety of positions. At first it looked like he was not going to make it grade wise, but he has buckled down in the classroom and it looks like he will be a qualifier. The 6’4 twitchy athlete projects best at DE or TE at the next level, but we prefer TE. He has a unique skill set that makes him run like a WR and he has great ball skills. He has a big frame to develop. He can be a difference maker in an offense.
CJ Robbins CJ Robbins 6'0" | 175 lbs | DB Baldwin | 2021 PA – Baldwin – CB: He is a very sound CB that is a technician on the field. He has excellent ball skills and is great in the run game. His hips are good but not great, which is really the only concern with him. He is a good player that played a lot of good football for Baldwin.
Jaden Keating Jaden Keating 6'0" | 190 lbs | DB Upper St Clair | 2021 State PA – Upper St Clair – SAF: He is a long and rangy safety that comes down and hits hard. Her can play to the field or boundary safety which makes him very versatile. He makes plays on the ball and has excellent cover skills from the hash. He has a natural feel for the position as well. He is an instinctual player that can excel at the next level.
T’Rek Scipio T’Rek Scipio 6'1" | 170 lbs | WR Woodland Hills | 2021 PA – Woodland Hills – WR: Scipio turned into the Wolverines #1 threat on the outside this season playing in the hardest and deepest class in Western PA. He did not disappoint. He was electric on the outside, making fabulous catches all year long and was great in the open field. Teams had trouble getting him down. He shows the ability to take the top off of a defense.
