Go watch this young man’s film, he looks like a grown man playing against a bunch of high school kids. He’s a spectacular running back prospect who can run around you or through you. He’s got an impressive build for a young player and already looks the part. He has the ability to return kicks and even took one to the house as a freshman. Every time he steps on the field, he’s the best player out there and shows it game after game. I think he has Division I type ability and someone could get a steal with this kid because not many people know about him.
QB: Jay Lemenager Jay Lemenager 6'0" | 180 lbs | ATH Clifton Centtral | 2021 IL , Clifton Central, SR
A left-handed QB prospect who can drop the deep ball right into the breadbasket. On-film, he shows a quick & compact release where he gets the ball out fast. Clifton did a phenomenal job of incorporating his running style into their offense. He’s a patient runner in-between the tackles who will let his blocks set up in front of him. He’s got solid top-end speed, and won’t get rundown by most defensive backs. This guy led Clifton Central to an 11-1 record & quarterfinal appearance as a junior and should have big things coming this winter. He’s still uncommitted at the moment and has seen a lot of recruiting attention from NAIA schools.
ATH: Jacob Shoven Jacob Shoven 6'0" | 170 lbs | ATH Central | 2021 IL , Clifton Central, SR
Lemenager’s go-to target was a gamechanger last fall for Clifton Central. He had plenty of production as a junior, finishing with 1,115 yards receiving on his way to being named Honorable-Mention All-State. Honestly, he’s talented enough to play on either side of the ball and can contribute in a multitude of ways. Shoven is shifty after the catch and has the vision to spot the cutback lane. As a defensive back, he attacks the ball in the air and shows phenomenal anticipation skills.
DB: Camden Robbins, Fairfield, JR
A long defensive back with some serious bounce. Robbins high points the football in the air and shows very soft hands. He can come in and contribute on special teams, whether it be covering kicks or blocking in the return game. Robbins has a ton of upside with his size and overall athleticism that he has displayed on tape. His best football is ahead of him and I’m really excited to see his junior film after this season.
DL: Eli Coop Eli Coop 6'3" | 300 lbs | DL Sparta | 2022 IL , Sparta, JR
This is kid is like a lightning bolt off the snap. Big men, his size aren’t supposed to move the way he does. He even carried the ball for a 65-yard touchdown scamper last fall. He was constantly doubled team all-season long and split them time and time again. He was nearly impossible to single block and caused serious disruption in the passing game. I think if he can continue to improve his hand placement and get consistent lockout on offensive linemen, you’re looking at an FBS type talent.
