4. Will Lenard Will Lenard 6'1" | 195 lbs | QB Northern Guilford | 2021 State NC , 6’1 185, Northern Guilford- Northern Guilford aired it out a lot last year, as Lenard attempted 363 passes, throwing for nearly 3000 yards in the process. Lenard’s footwork and pocket movement are excellent, allowing him to throw from a set base, even under pressure. Lenard has offers from a few schools, but should receive more recruiting interest in the spring.
3. Jahmier Slade, 6’ 170, Dudley- Slade struggled at times as a sophomore, but should himself to be a dynamic playmaker. With another year under center, the expectations are huge, but he has the talent to meet or even exceed them. He has good zip on his passes and throws an accurate deep ball.
2. Nate Hampton Nate Hampton 6'6" | 230 lbs | QB Davie | 2021 State NC , 6’5 225, Davie County- Hampton is a borderline Power Five quarterback with great size and a good arm, but he’s committed to Liberty, a big pickup for the Flames. A year ago, he put up over 3200 passing yards and added another 400 on the ground.
1. Ty Lyles Ty Lyles 5'11" | 210 lbs | QB East Forsythe | 2021 NC , 6’ 210, East Forsythe- We’ve seen the success Coastal Carolina has had recently with underrecruited quarterbacks from North Carolina and Lyles is next. How has hasn’t had more Power Five interest is beyond us. He’s mobile, accurate both while standing still and on the run and he’s a good decision maker.
