We have an interesting new in conference matchup between Woodland Hills and Penn-Trafford Friday, October 2nd. Both these teams have talent, but Woodland Hills’ junior standout, [player_tooltip player_id="27685" first="Deontae" last="Williams"] has been putting up big numbers. In three games he has 10 total touchdowns. He plays QB and safety for the team. He will be playing defense at the next level though. He is an athletic kid who has quickness and good speed. Penn-Trafford’s defensive priority will be containing Deontae along with running back [player_tooltip player_id="27362" first="Taelen" last="Brooks"], who has good vision with quickness. Chase Vecchio, Penn Trafford’s senior linebacker is the guy to do so. He shows quickness off the edge and through the hole. He is a good wrap up tackler. Deontae has a good deep threat wide receiver in [player_tooltip player_id="27389" first="T’Rek" last="Scipio"]. Penn-Trafford has a good senior corner in Mason Frye to keep up with T’Rek but does lack size, which gives T’Rek an advantage when comes to 50/50 balls. Mason’s brother, Nate Frye, and junior [player_tooltip player_id="27612" first="Cade" last="Yacamelli"] will be playing safety. Nate is undersized. He has some quickness but lacks overall speed. He is a good tackler. Cade will have to step in the secondary to help stop Woodland hills’ other offensive weapons who also have speed. Leading the way for Penn-Trafford’s offense is senior quarterback and Villanova commit, [player_tooltip player_id="27257" first="Ethan" last="Carr"]. Ethan is more of an athlete, played five positions last year. He does show to have a good arm though. He has a tall offensive tackle protecting him in [player_tooltip player_id="27361" first="Rob" last="Bartram"]. Penn-Trafford has some offensive weapons in junior athlete [player_tooltip player_id="27612" first="Cade" last="Yacamelli"], as mentioned before. Cade lines up at running back and receiver. He has quickness with good speed. At receiver, he looks to be a good route runner with good hands. They also have a senior athlete in Brad Ford. In the first game of the season, Brad had a 99-yard touchdown run. At receiver, he has a good release off the line of scrimmage and shows good speed with good ball skills. [player_tooltip player_id="27685" first="Deontae" last="Williams"] will be all over the field for Woodland Hills defense. Along with Deontae will be senior defensive back, [player_tooltip player_id="27395" first="Armani" last="Bailey"]. Armani is undersized but he’s a physical kid who will hit you. In the past five seasons, Penn-Trafford and Woodland Hills have played each other twice, Penn-Trafford winning both those games. With Woodland Hills being moved into the conference, this will be a rivalry matchup to watch for years to come. Who will start this rivalry with a win?
