other than saying he’s an athlete. He dominated, once again, in all three phases of the game in Piedmont’s win over Noble. He ran the ball for 65 yards, came up with 14 tackles and a pick-six on defense. And as if that wasn’t enough, he also had a kick return for a touchdown. Hendren has become a regular on this list every week and we don’t anticipate that changing anytime soon.

and Coweta felt right at home in their 42-21 win. Hamm did it all for the Tigers, throwing and running the ball. He threw for nearly 300 yards and three touchdowns and also added over 100 yards and a touchdown on the ground, showing why he’s one of the top dual-threat QB’s in his class.

. In their big win over Roland, Mathis was dynamic throwing the ball. He put up some of the biggest numbers passing that we’ve seen this season. He threw for 411 yards on 17-25 passing with five touchdowns. Mathis and the Wilburton offense just torched the Roland defense and he’s emerged as a player to watch.

. We’re all in on the senior standout for the Irish and he deserves to be on more college radars. In their big win over Booker T Washington, Tarman was outstanding running the ball against a stout BTW defense. He finished with 182 yards and three touchdowns against a defense littered with future college football players. College coaches need to look harder at this McGuinness standout.

Holland Hall has taken over the top spot in the Class 3A rankings and they’ve been dominant to start the season. A big reason has been the play of their quarterback

. The Dutch signal-caller has been outstanding and was lights out in their blowout win over Metro Christian. He threw for 278 yards and three touchdowns and also added a pair of touchdowns on the ground. Holland Hall looks for real and Clark and this Dutch offense can bring it.
