We’ve already ranked the quarterbacks in the Raleigh-Durham Area, so we’re moving to Charlotte to rank the top 11 quarterbacks in the area. First up, the guys we ranked 6-11.
11. Holland Stallings Holland Stallings 6'1" | 190 lbs | QB Providence | 2021 , 6’1 190, Providence- Stallings has had a strong offseason and I’ve been impressed with his camp performances. He has a strong arm and displays confidence throwing a multitude of throws. He’s an excellent student and several solid Division 3 schools have approached him in recent weeks.
10. Evan Bernard Evan Bernard 6'1" | 185 lbs | QB Cuthbertson | 2021 State NC , 6’1 190, Cuthbertson- Bernard doesn’t get enough credit for his rushing ability. He’s a natural leader who can make most throws and displays excellent poise in the pocket. Like Stallings, Bernard’s excellent work ethic and effort in the classroom are appealing to several smaller schools.
9. Matthew Tuomala Matthew Tuomala 6'2" | 185 lbs | QB Charlotte Christian | 2021 State NC , 6’2 185, Charlotte Christian- Tuomala was injured for much of last season but that hasn’t stopped him for having a strong offseason. The Knights ended up undefeated with Tuomala at the helm, thanks to his accurate deep ball passing and good decision making.
8. Dante Casciola Dante Casciola 6'2" | 185 lbs | QB Weddington | 2021 State NC , 6’2 185, Weddington- Casciola has the highest winning percentage of any current quarterback in the state. Aided by a strong running game, Casciola leads his offense well, succeeding from a variety of formations and personnel groupings. He’s committed to Dayton, which seems like a perfect fit.
7. Grantt Logan Grantt Logan 6'1" | 205 lbs | QB Providence Day | 2022 State NC , 6’1 205, Providence Day- A transfer from Thomas Jefferson Academy, Logan moves to a Chad Grier-led offense at Providence Day. Here, Logan’s strong arm and ability to deliver accurate deep balls should serve him well there. He’s the top-ranked 2022 pocket passer on our list.
6. Cameron Kromah Cameron Kromah 6'3" | 185 lbs | QB AL Brown | 2022 State NC , 6’3 185, AL Brown- Kromah has fantastic upside thanks to his strong arm and size. He’s a lefty who can really spin it and as he continues to get older he’s becoming more consistent. He’s a guy that should really benefit from the extra few months of the offseason. When I saw him compete at a few camps during the offseason, I was impressed with his growth. He’s a breakout candidate in 2021
