Benjamin Wilson – DB – Warren Township
The smooth corner showed very well during individual drills but then took it to another level during the 1-on-1 portion of the camp. Wilson recorded two interceptions, both of them he baited the quarterback into making throws where it seemed like the receiver was open. Wilson flips his hips well, a key trait for defensive backs. He possesses a college-ready frame at 6-foot-1-inch and 180-pounds, and it shows. Warren Township will have one of the best secondaries in all of Illinois.
Paolo Gennarelli Paolo Gennarelli 6'3" | 280 lbs | OL St. Charles North | 2022 State IL – DL – St. Charles North
This young man could end up on either side of the lines, but jumbo athletes like Gennarelli are so much more valuable on the defensive line. He showed great lateral quickness, and good footwork during individual drills. Gennarelli showed impressive strength, winning his tug-of-war battle. Thick frame, who can add on more good weight, Gennarelli is in line for a big junior year.
Caleb Falls – LB – Warren Township
It’s safe to say Warren Township should have a solid chance at returning to the class 8A state finals. Falls moves exceptionally well, has a frame that has the ability to add weight as well. Although he didn’t really stand out during individual drills, Falls did record an interception during the 1-on-1 portion. The coverage skills are extremely impressive.
Anthony Roberts – DB – South Elgin
Although Roberts is a bit slight at just 160-pounds, he shows all the skills necessary to be an elite cornerback. Fluid in his movements, he uses his hands well to fend off receivers. Roberts impressed during individual workouts, then took that good work over to the 1-on-1’s. He isn’t a burner but Roberts uses angles well and is able to use that to his advantage while in coverage.
