A lot of times some of these kids get overlooked because they don’t play at big schools, and I feel that they deserve the spotlight and the opportunity to be seen as by college coaches as well. It is important that we highlight as many prospects as possible. At Prep Redzone Florida, we are different than most sites where we want to emphasize guys that are not being heavily recruited and try to promote them, so they also get an opportunity to play in college and get the exposure they need and deserve!
Landen Pettis Landen Pettis 6'4" | 300 lbs | OL Chipley | 2022 FL , OT- Chipley c/o 22
6’3 280lbs
Pettis has a lot of upside to his game; he’s really just scratching the surface of how good he can really be. He’s got D1 size and plays with physicality. He comes out of his stance low, shoots his hands, and drives defenders backward. He has pretty good technique for being a young player, shows athleticism to be able to pull and get to the second level. I’m excited to watch his progress this season, I would be shocked if he doesn’t start receiving offers very early in the season.

Austin Angerbrandt, OT- Vernon
6’3 280lbs
Angerbrandt is a really good offensive or defensive line prospect, he plays with a lot of physicality and aggressiveness, he’s very light on his feet, can pull with ease, typically gets his hands inside and drives the defender back. He’s a great athlete for a player his size. He’s a classic drive blocker, but also looks comfortable in pass protection. He currently holds offers from Morehead State and Stetson.

Kenny Vaughn, C- Vernon c/o 22
6’0 285lbs
Vaughn is one the best centers in 1A, he’s got really good quickness, gets to the second level easily, and plays with a lot of nastiness and looks to drive defenders into the ground. He finishes his blocks and doesn’t stop until the whistle blows, his motor is one of the best I’ve seen so far in that region, he shows good agility in space, has good footwork and balance.

Devon Cosson, OT- Freeport
6’4 325lbs
Cosson has a proto-type D1 size. Shows a really good ability to climb to the second level and make blocks, he is a strong punch and once he gets his hands on you he has the ability to drive you where he wants you to go. He shows pretty good feet and agility for his size, he is a legit college prospect, I’m not sure why hasn’t received any offers as of yet? Players with his size don’t grow on trees, no doubt in my mind he will be playing college football next season somewhere. I’m really excited to watch him this year and see how he develops.
