While the Panhandle is easily one of the most overlooked areas of the state, there is plenty of quality talent – roaming this stretch of real estate along the Gulf of Mexico.
Each and every year, there are some impressive players who move on to the next level to help colleges and universities throughout the country, and this senior class will be no exception.
Our stop in the Panhandle will reveal 5 football players who have already left a mark – while still looking forward to a productive senior season.
Check out these quality Class of 2021 prospects:
Samari Allen, DL, Pensacola Escambia. This is a big young man who causes plenty of havoc up front for the state 6A runner up Gators. Strong, quick and very athletic, he is someone who can dictate what’s going on up front for head coach Mike Bennett’s football team. He will get after it on every play and his motor never stops.

Tabian Dale, LB, Pensacola Booker T. Washington. If you trace back to the success that this program had last season, here is one of the big reasons why. This is an athletic football player who is not afraid to stick his head into the action and has the quickness to get to the play fast and blow it up. Big play performer who can also drop back in pass coverage as well. Solid team player, which is huge for this program.

Simeon Price Simeon Price 6'0" | 205 lbs | WR Pensacola West Florida | 2021 State FL , RB/CB, Pensacola West Florida. When you watch this young man play, it’s no wonder why colleges have been following him for the past two years. This University of South Carolina commitment can get it done as a runner and receiver, using his quickness and football skills – or in the defensive secondary – where his athletic ability and knowledge of the game shine through. This is an ultra gifted prospect.

Trey Wainwright, QB, Niceville. One of those versatile athletes, who not only gets it done on the football field, but is also a baseball standout. A left-handed passer who can throw it hard and very accurate. He also is not afraid to tuck the ball under and run to move the chains. You can see his leadership skills – during his junior year – which helped this team win a number of games. Solid athlete who can get to the next level and play two sports if he chooses.

Terryl Brooks-Yarbrough, RB, Milton. Talk about a well-rounded student/athlete. Here is an exceptional running back who has speed, vision and changes directions as well as anyone. Once he hits that hole and gets into the secondary, you need to watch out because he can take it the distance at any time. With an eye toward a career in business, he also happens to hold down a solid 3.9 GPA in the classroom. Great teammate to have on your side.
