Earning All-District selection as a sophomore and a junior, Adeleye moves to Florida for his final year, playing for powerhouse IMG, and he will be someone that Buckeyes defensive line coach Larry Johnson will just love.
Adeleye is not a prototypical defensive end prospect, but he is explosive and certainly a prospect who will be the next elite player that lands in Columbus.
The Buckeyes padded an already gifted defensive line class for 2021. In addition to Adeleye, there are 5-star defensive end Jack Sawyer and 4-star interior lineman Michael Hall.

THE DEFENSIVE END POSITION IS ALWAYS STOCKED WITH TALENT
While Adeleye is one of the best defensive ends in the nation – and upper echelon in Florida, there are more prospects to keep an eye on in the Sunshine State:
[player_tooltip player_id="32887" first="Julius" last="Barfield"], DE, 6-4, 225, Melbourne Eau Gallie. This former Viera standout is headed to his final season as one of the best in Florida. An FAU commitment, this is a big time pass rusher, who you need to account for on every snap. He can alter an offense – in a hurry.

[player_tooltip player_id="32888" first="Allan" last="Baugh"], DE, 6-3, 260, Fort Lauderdale St. Thomas Aquinas. No matter if it’s on running plays or trying to get things going on passing downs, this is a tremendous defensive lineman who creates havoc with his size, speed and overall athletic ability. When the defending 7A state champions get back out on the field, look for him to be a huge part of what this program does so well. Can play on the end or inside.

Ashton Gillotte, DE, 6-4, 225, Boca Raton. One of the under-the-radar state-rated prospects, here is a quality football player that the University of Louisville was on from the start, and as he is committed to play for the Cardinals, his senior season is expected to be one that Bobcat fans will remember. Solid defensive force up front.

[player_tooltip player_id="32893" first="Kareem" last="Grant"], DE, 6-4, 235, St. Petersburg Lakewood. Even though much of his work has been on the offensive side of the ball – as a tight end – this is a super talent that many are projecting as a defensive end prospect, who is long, athletic and a major force up front. Played a big part in the success of this team last season, coming within one game of playing for the 4A state championship.

[player_tooltip player_id="32903" first="Jeremiah" last="Peters"], DE, 6-3, 220, Miami Booker T. Washington. Here is a football talent that was under-the-radar for way too long. Showed last season why many believe that when all is said and done, he has a chance to be among the best in the country. A Toledo University commit, who played a huge role for the defending 4A state champions. Watch him play and you will be amazed at how productive he is.
