Perhaps one of the most popular prospects the state of Minnesota has to offer since the last update was the rise of

of Minneapolis North. The 6’7 defensive end is as quick as they come. Within the first few seconds of watching his tape, I was dumbfounded by how many offensive linemen missed him on their block and he just took it out on their quarterback. Townley also is active in messing up the opponents running game which adds another excellent touch to his game. It all started when Central Michigan offered in late April offered him his first Division I football scholarship and his stock has risen nothing but up from there collecting offers from Central, Michigan, Iowa State, Western Illinois, Minnesota, Missouri, Indiana, Boston College, Nebraska, Arizona State, Arizona, Michigan State, Kentucky, and most recently from the Oregon Ducks. That’s 11 power five offers in 2.5 months, in which you have to believe Townley has much more coming for himself and the Polars in the next few months as the Polars work on getting back to the state tournament with their exceptional roster of prospects that has four players in our top 50 with Townley at #7, Air Force commit

Kamara and McMillian should rise one more spot in the coming weeks due to Dorian Singer’s transfer to Pinnacle High School in Arizona. Yeager will also move up with

Kingsbury finishes blocks like he’s on a mission to destroy the defenders. Kingsbury also has quick feet to give him even more leverage on those that go up against him. Model offensive linemen at 6’5 275 pounds and Division I coaches have started to take notes. Kingsbury is also an elite student and holds offers from John Hopkins, Pennsylvania, Princeton, Brown, Columbia, Wayne State, North Dakota State, Western Illinois, Mankato, and Augustana. Kingsbury moves into our #25 spot in our rankings and will be one of the most highly touted prospects the Beacons program has ever seen.

Norby is such a versatile threat at multiple positions for West Central Area and the Fighting Hawks jumped on him first! Runs the field extremely well for 6’4 235 pounds but it’s an absolute mystery on where he will play at North Dakota. I think he would be an excellent outside linebacker as every hit I watched of Norby, he doesn’t just take out his opponent, he lays the wood at the highest degree plus his size already lines up nicely for that position. Norby jumps on our rankings at #24 and probably will jump slightly higher once the season hits.

Willingham’s length and size is no joke. The 6’5 195 pound wide receiver just outmans just about every defensive back he goes up against. Watching him grab throws from Ryan Dufault, from our Mankato rankings, is almost like when you hold something up high from your little brother and you know he’s too short to reach for it, that’s what defenders look like trying to cover Willingham. Fits more of a catching tight end at the college level. Willingham is a toss-up, on if he will play football or basketball at the next level as he holds football offers from Mankato, Northern State, and Southwest Minnesota State and basketball offers from Mankato, Concordia-St. Paul. Based on Twitter, Mankato may be a current front runner for Willingham which would be interesting to see him play both sports for the Mavericks. Willingham checks in at #26 in our rankings.

Diggins, much like Norby is another "do it all" type, player for the Hornets of Perham and the Bison took notes early and jumped in on him. The NDSU commit lines up in many different formations but is a very quick player when in pursuit. His glue type hands are getting any ball that comes his way and his ability to run his routes and use that 6’5 size of his is going to be fun to watch in green and yellow.

. Montoya is another 6’1 defensive back that we missed on the first go-around with the Class of 2021 rankings. My first glimpse from watching the tape is how much pop Montoya has when he hits someone. Montoya gathered 4 INTs, 41 tackles, and 2 fumble recoveries for the 5A champion Chaska Hawks. Montoya also runs a 4.5 40 and currently holds six offers from Bemidji State, Mankato, Augustana, Mary, and Southwest Minnesota State.
