SoCal Recruiting Update: Arizona State targets Class of 2022 lineman; QBs Grady and Eget add offers

Arizona State, who has been very active in recruiting Southern California offensive linemen, has offered Upland High junior [player_tooltip player_id="25280" first="Maika" last="Matelau"]. The Sun Devils have recently signed [player_tooltip player_id="25181" first="Isaiah" last="World"] of Lincoln High in San Diego and have offered top linemen [player_tooltip player_id="25110" first="Austin" last="Barry"] of JW North (Riverside) and [player_tooltip player_id="25167" first="Brody" last="Crane"] of Santa Margarita. https://twitter.com/scoutingdiary/status/1266374154346889217?s=20 Matelau, a 6-foot-5, 320-pound tackle who is a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, also has an offer from BYU. NFL Hall of Fame lineman Kevin Mawae is a member of the Arizona State coaching staff and appears to be targeting top linemen from Southern California. <strong>USD offers another Quarterback in Grady</strong> Pro-style quarterback [player_tooltip player_id="25213" first="Ethan" last="Grady"] from St. Monica Catholic High in Santa Monica picked up his third offer Wednesday from the University of San Diego.
