Last year The City League had two FBS scholarship players in Dayon Hayes and Michael Snowden who signed at Pitt and Akron respectively. This year, there are three guys who have potential to be FBS level players, but probably will be very good FCS prospects. All three prospects currently have no offers.
Darius Bruce Darius Bruce 5'11" | 170 lbs | DB George Westinghouse | 2021 State PA – Safety – Westinghouse: For the 2nd straight year, Westinghouse boasts the top player in the City League. The 5’11 170 pound safety is a playmaker in the back end of the defense. He has great burst and change of direction and makes plays all over the field. His ball skills are very good and when he gets the ball in his hands, he certainly can take it back to the house. He is a hard-hitter that punishes ball carriers and receivers that come across the middle. He is very fun to watch and a guy that could blow up this season.
Keith Norman – MLB – University Prep: The 6’4 208 pound versatile playmaker can play many different positions. Right now we have him listed as an MLB but he can definitely play DE or TE at the next level with added weight. He as really good speed and the ability to play sideline to sideline which suits him best at LB right now. He shows the ability to blitz and get after a QB. It is probably his best asset right now. We don’t think he would have any problem sliding down to an end position and building a force point on the outside. He is a hard hitting player that loves to get after the QB.
Saveionne Randolph – WR – Allderdice: At 5’11 170 he isn’t the biggest dude on the field but he most certainly is the most electric. Has the ability to take it to the distance at any moment in the game. He has the ability to play special teams as well as an added bonus. He has good speed and burst and is able to cut through the center of a defense at any time. He has above average ball skills and shows the ability to make a contested catch. He is a fun player to watch.
