Deyson Davis (Athens HS)- Good height and weight with a sturdy frame. He’s a one-cut, decisive runner who likes to get downhill. Shows solid acceleration/burst off the snap, and keeps shoulders square when hitting the A or B gaps. Good play strength both upper and lower body, shows the ability to run through arm tackles/trash at the LOS and play with good pad level. Good speed into the second level, while maintaining physical running style. Displays the ability to out run defenders or can use a good speed to power transition in the open field. He can be a home run threat both when running inside or outside the tackles. He is a good overall player that has a very good combination of speed, quickness, and power. He will be a solid player at the next level.
Brandon Rossmiller (Camp Point Central HS)- Good height and weight with a developed frame. Very good combination of acceleration/burst and patience off the snap. Very good vision and processing as he approaches the LOS to see and understand blocking, while helping set blocks up with his movements/pace. Once he sees the hole, very good burst to get in and out quickly and up to the second level. Displays very good combination of agility and play strength, he was able to run through defenders and use an effective stiff arm, but was also able to cut and make defenders miss. Very good long speed, and can out run defenders consistently. Shows good ability as a pass catcher as well, with good hands and transition. Good tracking ability and body control allow him to be effective down the field. Overall, a very good player who will be very effective at the next level.
Ty Stykel (Aquin Catholic HS)- Adequate height and weight with a slender frame. Very good burst off snap, slong with the acceleration to get in and out of the hole quickly. Displays very good vision and processing to set blocks if the initial hole doesn’t develop. Good play strength to run through contact at the LOS, and is able to get through arm tackles in the open field. Very good speed, gets on defenders quickly, and once into the second and third levels he will consistently out run defenders. Good open field runner, couples good COD with agility to not only make defenders miss, but also navigate blocks and cut off of the backside of his blockers. Good ability as a pass catcher, good hands and transition. Maintains his burst and acceleration post catch to rack up a lot of YAC. Very good finisher, consistently transitions speed to power and falls forward. Overall, a very good player, who will be able to contribute in a lot of different roles at the next level.
