[player_tooltip player_id="25409" first="Francis" last="Mauigoa"], OL/DL, 6’4 285 lbs., Aquinas HS
Possibly the top west coast prospect in the 2023 class. He’s athletic, agile, and extremely versatile making it difficult to project if he’ll end up on the OL or DL at the next level. No matter what side of the ball he ends up on, he’ll be an elite prospect for years to come. Comes from strong blood lines with brother, [player_tooltip player_id="25172" first="Francisco" last="Mauigoa"] (2021), that holds several D1 offers of his own. Francis has already stacked up 15 offers from many of the top programs in the country including Michigan, Oregon, USC, Oklahoma, and LSU.
[player_tooltip player_id="25456" first="Matayo" last="Uiagalelei"], DL, 6’5 250 lbs., St. John Bosco
Younger brother of former top QB recruit, DJ Uiagalelei, but possesses a very different skill set as a pass rusher and TE. Already has elite size and length at 6’5 250 lbs as a freshman. Outstanding athleticism and surprising quick twitch for his size and age. Received his first offer as an 8th grader and has solidified his place as a national recruit collecting big time offers from Alabama, LSU, Oregon, Texas A&M, and USC to name a few.
[player_tooltip player_id="25395" first="RJ" last="Jones"], DB, 6’1 170 lbs., Bishop Alemany HS
Was a starter as a freshman at one of the top programs in California. Jones has great instincts and route anticipation with the speed and hip turn to cover a lot of ground quickly. Displays an ability to quickly diagnose plays and loves to show off his toughness and physicality in run support. Colleges love his upside and potential, many PAC12 schools have taken notice and already offered him.
[player_tooltip player_id="25419" first="Malachi" last="Nelson"], Pro-Style QB, 6’1 175 lbs., Los Alamitos HS
Malachi has been on college radars from very early on evident by his collection of elite BCS offers including Alabama, Auburn, Georgia, LSU, and Ohio State. He’s a pure passer with outstanding mechanics, accuracy, and arm strength. Has functional mobility to avoid pressure and deliver accurate balls outside the pocket that will only improve as he matures. High football IQ, with an understanding of the game and his position that is rarely seen in young QBs. He is and will be one of the most sought after QB’s in the 2023 class.
[player_tooltip player_id="25434" first="Malachi" last="Riley"], WR, 6’0 160 lbs., Centennial HS – Corona
Another example of a freshman that garnered college attention before playing a down of high school football. Gifted young athlete with length, speed, and ball skills. He’s a creative route runner that understands how to create separation and put himself in position to make a play on the ball. Love to see his ability to attack the ball at its highest point and come down with jump balls. Currently has six offers including ASU, Colorado, Kansas, and BYU and will be looking to add more in Centennial’s potent offense.
[player_tooltip player_id="25410" first="Jahlil" last="McClain"], WR, 5’10 180 lbs., St. John Bosco
Another explosive athlete out of powerhouse St. John Bosco. McClain is a speedster with strong hands and a play maker after the catch. Strong route runner for a young wide out that has good footwork and has a smooth transition in and out of his cuts. Flashes at DB as well using his quick feet and fluid hips. Picked up four PAC12 offers thus far from ASU, Arizona, Oregon and USC with many more to come.
