Jacob Stewart, Pro-Style QB, 6’5 210 lbs., Christian Brothers HS
Ideal size and frame that is able to oversee the whole field at 6’5 210 lbs. Natural arm strength that shows the ability to place the ball downfield with touch or fit it in a tight window with velocity. Flashes his training with strong footwork and throwing motion in the pocket. Athleticism and mobility have continued to improve with a significant jump from his sophomore season to his junior season showing he can maneuver around pressure, throw on the run, or make a play with his legs. Dixie State, Southwest Minnesota State, and Southern Oregon have all offered to date but that number could jump with a big senior season.

Jake Tarwater, Pro-Style QB, 6’4 210 lbs., South Lake Tahoe HS
Tarwater has the size college coaches are looking for in a pocket passer at 6’4 210 lbs. Evaluators love his presence and demeanor in the pocket, always calm under pressure surveying the field. He’s a smart QB that is a quick and decisive with his reads using his anticipation to throw his receiver’s open. Consistent with his footwork and throwing mechanics, he has a strong over the top throwing motion with full extension that allows him to put high velocity on short and intermediate routes. Picked up his first D2 offer from Lake Erie College in May and some high academic schools have shown interest entering his senior year.

Eli Brickhandler, Pro-Style QB, 6’1 195 lbs., Pittsburg HS
Transferred to bay area powerhouse Pittsburg HS after a successful season at Whitney HS where he led his team to a deep run in the playoffs. He’s a crafty athlete that can make something out of nothing often times avoiding pressure and extending plays similar to Johnny Manziel while at Texas A&M. Great awareness of pocket pressure and shows a good ability to avoid that pressure while keeping his eyes downfield to locate an open target. He also demonstrated that he is capable of throwing the ball at different arm angles to deliver an accurate and catchable ball. Can sit back in the pocket to methodically dissect the defense but colleges will like that ability to escape pressure and throw on the run with accuracy and velocity. Under recruited up to this point but will be one to watch with new explosive weapons in the Pittsburg offense.

Jacob Aaron, Pro-Style QB, 6’1 200 lbs., Vintage HS
A developing pro-style QB that has flown under the radar. He’s highly competitive, has a strong football IQ, and can attack defenses in a lot of different ways. Good athlete that has a natural throwing motion and plus accuracy. He stands tall in the pocket with good poise and shows his toughness throwing an accurate ball even with a defender in his face. Demonstrates a strong understanding of coverages and good decision making as he goes through his progression. He has the tools and upside to be a quality QB at the next level.

Hudson Beers, Pro-Style QB, 6’0 170 lbs., Justin Siena HS
Had a great junior season as a first-year starter where he threw for almost 3,000 yards and 30 TDs while completing over 65% of his passes. Strong fundamentals and technique with natural arm talent. Very accurate passer that has good anticipation and route timing. Good pocket presence never appears panicked or surprised by what the defense brings at him. He keeps active feet and a solid base in order to quickly square his shoulders and hit an open target. He has performed well in off-season showcases and 7on7 prior to Covid-19, expect him to put up big numbers in 2020.

Nick Bandanza, Pro-Style QB, 6’2 190 lbs., Branham HS
A two-year starter and BVAL Mt. Hamilton Division Offensive Player of the Year at Branham HS led his team to the Central Coast D4 championship. He has good size and a strong frame at 6’2 190 lbs. Arm strength and accuracy is a major strength for Bandanza, throws with good location and timing. Smooth flow on his drop back, shows good footwork and mechanics in the pocket. Plus athleticism and mobility, he’s difficult to contain in the pocket when protection breaks down. Love his ability to continue to survey the field on the run and take a hit to deliver a good ball. He’s got great upside and should see his stock rising in the 2020 season.
