2020-21 MN Recruiting Hotbeds: Academy of Holy Angels Stars

<span style="font-size: 12pt;">This 11th edition of <em>PrepRedzone’s "</em>MN Recruiting Hotbeds" for the 2020-21 year will take us only 15ish minutes outside of Minneapolis to Richfield were the city’s resident private school: the <em>Academy of Holy Angels</em>, is located at 6600 Nicollet Avenue and holds one of MN prep football’s richest private school traditions, no pun intended. The <em>Stars, </em>home to the one-and-only Larry Fitzgerald and heavy-hitting prep studs from the last decade like Mikias Alipate, Adam Hoffman, my good friend Connor McCarthy, Ryan Muzurek, [player_tooltip player_id="1642" first="Keontay" last="Shorter"], [player_tooltip player_id="1575" first="Jack" last="Anderson"], and more, have had a couple "down years"by their standards the past two seasons despite a 7-1 regular season record in 2018 and a section victory over <em>Orono </em>last season before <em>Benilde-St. Margaret’s </em>ended their season for the second consecutive year, but man <em>AHA </em>is loaded for next season. With the #1 RB in the c/o of 2022 and one of 2021’s biggest dark-horses of a recruit who recently earned three D1 offers, the <em>Stars </em>also have some additional talent in their upperclassmen and make for a legitimate 4A state title contender next season. Although they are graduating some studs this spring <em>Holy Angels </em>is most definitely a Minnesota recruiting hotbed for the 2020 football season, and <em>PrepRedzone </em>is here to give you a sneak-peek and in-depth look at the <em>Stars </em>2021 class as well as some 2022’s.
