2018 State Football Expert Picks – Semifinals
Two spots in Prep Bowl XXXVII are on the line in each class this weekend in Minneapolis. So without further ado, the expert picks for the state semifinal round have been released.
St. Paul Pioneer Press sportswriter Jace Frederick leads the field of 15 media members by two games over Brian Jerzak of Northstar Football News after the quarterfinals. Frederick correctly selected 26 of 28 contests to end the weekend in first place.
The state semifinals begin Thursday morning at U.S. Bank Stadium with Spring Grove battling Cromwell in 9-Man at 11:30 a.m., lasting until Saturday night’s Class AAAAA contest between St. Thomas Academy and Bemidji.
