The Hawks defense is coming off back to back shutouts and has only allowed two touchdowns in three games. It will be tested on Friday night, however, by the Spartans.
Orono's offense struggled in a loss against defending state champion Benilde-St. Margaret's, but in the Spartans' two wins the offense has put up more than 40 points per game. Junior quarterback Nick Prentice has thrown for 690 yards and four touchdowns, with zero interceptions.
