My season started slow because I was new to the varsity level and I needed to improve. I was one of the players on the team that won the most improved varsity player award. I enjoyed playing with the seniors who took the time to teach me and pushed me to improve.”
Improving his best is something Oppedal does day in and day out.
“I'm focusing on football this off season and working on speed and strength,” Oppedal explained to Northstar Football. “I'm mainly looking to improve my speed to get off the ball faster. I'm looking to see how much I can improve. I'm not so sure about the team but I'm sure our coach has something stored for us.”
