I feel like I can high point the ball well on jump balls too.”
Slagter has a bad taste in his mouth after a section final loss last season.
“Last year, we made it to the section finals and lost 14-6 to Rocori, and this was the second season in a row we have lost to Rocori in the section finals, so this will definitely help lead us to working harder in the summer,” Slagter explained. “One of the biggest highlights we had as a team was beating Fergus Falls in the semi finals after being down 20 going into the 4th quarter. I sat two games last year due to a concussion I got in the middle of the season, but my personal stats were 10 touchdowns and around 680 yards received in nine games played and 1 interception. I was honored to be All District as well.”
