I like to cutback away from the direction that the play is supposed to be going when I see an opening. I have good hands and don’t go down easily on the first hit. I’m pretty quick in short spaces and hard to tackle. Defensively, I am very mobile as I can move from an outside linebacker position to a safety in a cover two. I am pretty good in coverage and had three interceptions last season. As a linebacker, I am good at reading where the play is going and getting to where I am supposed to be.”
Things can't get much better for Hennen after a stellar junior season.
“Last season we went 9-1 and had an undefeated regular season along with a district championship,” Hennen explained to Northstar Football. “On offense I ended up with 35 total touchdowns in ten games. We had a lot of close games last year which was a little bit of a new thing for us, but it also made the season a lot of fun. Thanks to our great offensive line, I set the school record for touchdowns in a single season, received all-area and all-district honors, and was a candidate for Northstar’s Class A MVP. I also received our team’s most valuable teammate award and our most valuable offensive player award.”
