Who were they? Let’s take a look…
Julian Lewis Julian Lewis 6'2" | 175 lbs | QB Carrollton | 2025 GA – Carrollton
We’ve written about him all season along, and the phenomenal freshman continues to impress week after week. He’s playing like a generational quarterback and is having one of the best freshman seasons we’ve ever seen from a quarterback in the peach state. He’s played like seasoned veteran and played that way once again against a talented Walton defense in round three. It was a tough task, but once again, Lewis made it look easy, going 22/32 for 333 yards and 4 TDs in a big 52-27 Trojan victory. The arm talent is easy to see, but his ball placement, leadership, and decision making make him already one of the top overall prospects in Georgia and one of the best 2026 prospects in the country. He’s been excellent all season long and will have to play at a high level once again against Colquitt County in the 7A semi-finals this weekend.
Prentiss “Air” Noland – Langston Hughes
Another week, another big performance from the elite 2024 gunslinger for Langston Hughes. The big-armed left-handed quarterback has a rocket arm and has developed as much as any quarterback in the state this fall. He can make all the throws, has easy D1-caliber talent, and has dominated opposing defenses all season long. Langston Hughes is playing like the best team in Georgia right now, and thanks to Noland, they are the clear favorites to win the 6A title this season. In a big 56-28 win over Woodward Academy, Nolan lit up the stat sheet once again against a very talented defense, going 22/30 for 301 passing yards and 3 TDs along with one more rushing touchdown. The young man can do it all and has been unstoppable this season.
Neko Fann Neko Fann 6'0" | 170 lbs | QB Colquitt County | 2024 State GA – Colquitt County
The Packers are absolutely rolling right now and have their eyes set on a 7A state championship. A big reason for their success say been the play of their quarterback, Neko Fann Neko Fann 6'0" | 170 lbs | QB Colquitt County | 2024 State GA . An accurate passer who plays bigger than his size, Fann was on fire last weekend in a 52-17 win over North Gwinnett, throwing for 352 yards and 6 TDs in the game. He was efficient, made correct reads all game long, and was consistently accurate all night going 15/20 on the night. He’s been fantastic all season, but he’s saving his best for the playoffs right now. He lead Colquitt County to 56 points in the first round, 49 points in the second round, and now 52 points against a stout North Gwinnett defense with multiple defenders heading to Power 5 programs after the season. Fann is playing excellent football right now and will have to bring his best once again against Carrollton in the 7A semi-finals this weekend.
KJ Smith – Roswell
An under the radar junior quarterback to know in the North Fulton area, Roswell’s KJ Smith has once again led the Hornets to a major playoff victory. The magical season continues, and Smith’s play is a big reason why. Down 24-6 at thee half against an undefeated Thomas County Central team, Smith helped lead the Hornets all the way back to an impressive 42-34 upset win. Smith was excellent in the victory, going 11/20 for 242 yards passing with three touchdowns in the come-from-behind victory. . Hee also added 34 rushing yards on 13 carries. The dynamic 2024 quarterback has Roswell playing great on offense, scoring at least 42 points in each of the first three games of the playoffs.
